1. Can you take food inside?

Picnicking is prohibited inside the castle buildings, but you can eat outside on the grounds. Water is allowed.

Whilst there are slopes in certain areas, Dover Castle is easily navigable for most mobility levels.

In the summer months, June-August, the highest visitor numbers are seen. April-May and September-October are also popular.
